Miatta Conference Center Rental
The Miatta Conference Center is a 500 sitter conference hall that is used for government and private activities. The procedure for the rental of the hall is as follows:
- A letter should be written to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Housing and infrastructure, New England requesting for the use of the hall. This letter should be sent 2 weeks before the date of usage. The content of the letter should indicate the activity, date and time period of the activity.
- The Ministry of Works Housing and Infrastructure will reply within two days of receipt of request stating whether the request is approve or not.
- If the request is approved, the requester should pay Le2,700,000 (Two Million, Seven Hundred Thousand Leones) for Hall Rental to the Account Number 0112006006 at the Bank of Sierra Leone. This Hall Rental fee does not include chairs and Public Address System. This payment should be done one week before the date of the activity and bank slip submitted to the Ministry.
- It is advisable that bookings be made well in advance to verify the availability of the Hall
