Team MWHI Management Team Abdul B.Barrie Deputy Minister Hon Abdul Babagalleh Barrie was born in Kabala Koinadugu District in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone. He attended the Bo Government Secondary School in the Southern Province of Sierra Leone up to fifth form. After attaining the GCE, Ordinary Level, he proceeded to United Kingdom where he did his sixth form at Shoreham Grammar School, Sussex, England. He then got his tertiary education at the University of Greenwich where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Economy. He is an associate member of this university. He further obtained a Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in management at the Thames Valley University in London. After completing his postgraduate education, he worked for British Gas in London for 5 years and America Insurance Group (AIG) up to 2006. He returned to Sierra Leone in 2006 and in 2007, he was appointed as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Works, Housing and Infrastructure. He has been the Acting Minister from 2013 to date. As Acting Minister of the Ministry of Works, Housing and Infrastructure, he has successfully overseen the completion of the Ernest Bai Koroma Highway project, the rehabilitation of the Lumley Beach Road to name a few. He has attended several conferences/seminars at home and abroad especially in the African Continent.
