Contract Signing for the Construction of a Four-way highway from Wellington

THE MINISTRY OF WORKS, HOUSING AND INFRASTRUCTURE ACTUALISING THE AGENDA FOR PROSPERITY ON INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT.

The Ministry of Works, Housing and Infrastructure under the astute leadership of Honorable Alhaji Ibrahim Kemoh Sesay together with the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) have been working assiduously to making the much anticipated Wellington to Maisiaka four-way highway a reality consistent with the Agenda for prosperity on infrastructural development.
The Government of Sierra Leone, under the dynamic leadership of H.E. President Ernest Bai Koroma, and the China Railway Seventh Group (CRSG), on the 20th April, 2016,  have signed the contracts for the construction of the four-way highway from Wellington to Maisiaka, the Tagrin to Lungi onto Conakridee in Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom, Portloko District.
The Tagrin to Lungi will also include the Mahera road from Rotifunk junction to the beach, the Ernest Bai Koroma road from airport junction to the beach and Talebu junction to Suctarr junction joining the Lungi-Port loko road that was also constructed by the CRSG.

The official launch of these projects will be done by His Excellency Dr Ernest Bai Koroma on Monday 25th April, 2016 in Waterloo at 9am. The ministry is inviting all development loving Sierra Leoneans to the occasion.
